Liverpool John Lennon Airport recommends passengers arrive a minimum of 2 hours before departure to allow sufficient time to check-in, pass through airport security and to take advantage of the many new passenger facilities now available in the departure lounge.
All passengers are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure they arrive at the Departure Gate at the published boarding time as stipulated by their airline.

Average Liverpool John Lennon Airport security processing times are around 10 minutes. This means you'll be able to get through to the departure lounge quicker and have a far more pleasant, relaxing experience before your onward journey. Faster, easier, friendlier.
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their flight is due to depart, making extra allowance during peak times for all travel processes, including journey to the airport, parking and checking in or dropping your hold luggage. Liverpool John Lennon Airport cannot be held responsible for passengers that miss their flight due to insufficient time to complete travel processes.
