Whilst the Airport makes every effort to keep queues to a minimum, for short periods at peak times, particularly at our busiest time early in the morning, queues can develop due to the volumes of passengers and their belongings being security screened.
All passengers now have the option to purchase a ticket, reduce the time spent waiting in security queues and enjoy a quicker passage through to the departure lounge and all its amenities.
At peak times, a Fast Lane ticket cannot guarantee that you won't have to wait in a queue, however, your queuing time will be shorter, compared to the standard passenger queue.
Passengers must ensure that they arrive at their departure gate at the published boarding time as stated by their airline. No responsibility can be taken by Liverpool John Lennon Airport for those passengers who do not leave sufficient time for the checking-in and security search processes. Liverpool John Lennon Airport recommends passengers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure.
