Liverpool South Parkway is the closest rail station to Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) and is located approximately 2 miles from the airport itself. Transport is available between the airport and the rail station by bus or taxi. The station is also easily accessible from elsewhere in the country and has efficient links to Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

Liverpool Lime Street Station
Liverpool Lime Street Station is located 7 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and has great connections to all of the UK's main rail networks and connections onwards to the airport.

Travel between Liverpool Central Rail Station and Liverpool John Lennon Airport
The Merseyrail Hunts Cross route also operates to Liverpool Central train station, in the heart of the city centre, in case of any further connections you might need to make.
This particular service runs from Southport to Hunts Cross and calls at Liverpool Central, Brunswick, St Michaels, Aigburth, Cressington, Liverpool South Parkway and finally, Hunts Cross. If you wish to use this route, the trains leave at 14, 29, 44 and 59 minutes past the hour.
Passengers can then alight the train at Liverpool South Parkway or Hunts Cross to then catch a bus directly to Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
