Coach services

National Express operate a number of services to and from Liverpool making travel by coach to Liverpool John Lennon Airport easy. Through tickets are available for use on Arriva bus services to and from the Airport via the Liverpool One bus Station giving easy access to the 500 Airport Express bus service as well as the 80A, 82A and 86A bus services that also go to the Airport.

Coach and large minibus access to the front of the terminal

From 1^st October 2022, the charge for coaches and large minibuses over 16 seats wishing to use the coach bays on the terminal front will be £20 per drop off and pick up, with vehicles able to remain in the area until having completed the dropping off or picking up of all their passengers and luggage. Upon arrival at the terminal front, a member of our landside operations team will greet the coach/large minibus and escort the driver to the nearest pay station, where they will liaise with the car park department to make the drop off/pick up payment.

Minibuses below 16 seats and under 2.15m height can use the Express Drop off/Pick up car park, paying the same rates as all other vehicles – click here for latest rates.

Minibuses below 16 seats but higher than 2.15m can use a dedicated area within the long stay car park, located behind the multi-storey car park and clearly signed from the long stay entry. Rates are £10 for up to 1 hour, £15 up to 2 hours and daily long stay charges apply thereafter.  Payment should be made at a pay station prior to exit. These are located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park or in the terminal building.
