Q: How do I apply to become a Pilot/Cabin Crew?
A: Liverpool John Lennon Airport do not directly employ any of these groups of staff. Please contact the Airline you wish to work for directly.

Q: I want to work for Check In/Security/Catering/Cleaning at the Airport, how do I apply?
A: Liverpool John Lennon Airport do not directly employ these staff, please see our 'other companies' section for further information.

Q: How many Baggage Handlers does the Airport employ?
A: Liverpool John Lennon Airport employ approximately 100 people within our Ramp Services Department.

Q: If I get a job at the Airport are there Car Parking Facilities available for staff?
A: All staff are entitled to Car Parking facilities, a Car Parking Pass will be issued to you as part of your induction.

Q: Where do positions at John Lennon Airport get advertised?
A: Vacancies are advertised here on this website, as well as in local newspapers, job centres and where applicable industry specific magazines. CV's are not held on file.

Q: How long will it take before I find out if I have been asked to attend an interview
A: Usually the short listing process can take up to four weeks, depending on how many applicants have applied for a position. Human Resources will write to all candidates in due course to inform them of the outcome of their application.

Q: Do I have to pay for A Criminal Record Check if successful?
A: The cost of the Criminal Record Check is paid for by Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Q: At what stage in the recruitment process are references requested?
A: It is company policy not to apply for references until an offer of employment has been made.

Q: If I need a uniform, do I have to pay for one?
A: Liverpool John Lennon Airport will provide employees with any uniform needed, free of charge.

Q: Can I undertake Work Experience at the Airport?
A: Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to undertake work experience with Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Other companies based at the airport may have their own policies in place, and you should contact them directly for more information.
