About Liverpool

Liverpool is probably most famous for being the birthplace of the iconic Beatles, who changed the face of musical history – but there’s still so much more to see and discover.

The city is home to two cathedrals linked by a street named Hope, and Liverpool holds the Guinness Book of Records as Capital of Pop - more Liverpool artists have had a Number One hit than artistes from any other town or city.

Architecture is a huge attraction for people visiting the city too. St George’s Hall is thought by many to be the finest example of neo-classical architecture in Europe, if not the world.
