When the Airport was renamed Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) in 2002, this was carried out with a vision to work more closely with the arts world and with local communities across Merseyside. JLA's Collection 08 encapsulates the collaboration between the Airport and a number of different artists and demonstrates a unique collection of photography, art and other exhibits which are showcased in and around the Airport terminal.
