Assistance Dogs

We welcome assistance dogs travelling to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Contact your airline or tour operator to confirm you can travel with your dog on your chosen route. The following links will provide some important information:

When departing from Liverpool with a guide dog, please contact the assistance desk as soon as you arrive.

Electronic Mobility Aids (including mobility scooters)

Inform your airline or travel company that you wish to travel with an Electronic Mobility Aid (EMA) at the time of booking or up to 48 hours before you travel. You will need to provide the make and model of your EMA and know how to isolate your EMA from its battery supply before it is loaded onto the aircraft.

If you are travelling with an assistance dog or electric mobility id we recommend arriving at the airport a minimum of 2 hours before your flight is due to depart.
