Air Traffic Control Services Ltd is seeking to recruit an Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO) to join the existing team at Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA). This exciting new opportunity is ideal for those looking to work with a diverse mix of air traffic in a busy airport, handling over 60,000 commercial and general aviation flights a year.* Brimming with arts, sports, music, technology, food and fashion, Liverpool is a vibrant city with a global outlook and world renowned heritage and architecture. Liverpool is the gateway to the North, just 1 hour to Wales, 90 minutes to the Lake District and 45 minutes to Manchester.

Working shifts on a 24 hour basis, you will ensure the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic within your area of responsibility. The role may include opportunities to provide ADI and APS for LJLA and remoted APS services for Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

To be eligible to apply for the position, you will hold a UK CAA recognised and previously validated licence in Approach Control Surveillance and Aerodrome Control Instrument. A European class 3 Medical certificate is also essential. Awareness of Safety Management

process is desirable. An OJTI and Assessor endorsement is also desirable. You should also have a focus on safety, high operational standards and service provision, be IT capable as well as being team orientated.

Salary: up to £71,000 per annum (plus 2018 pay award). Salary dependent on experience and includes multi-rated allowance. Benefits include a contributory pension scheme, company healthcare plan, access to
