Specialised tour operator OSKA Travel has announced that it will introduce two new departure dates for holidays to Antalya, Turkey direct from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (JLA) in November 2014. This announcement follows last year’s successful launch of its charter flight programme to Antalya from a number of other UK airports.
The seven day holidays will depart from Liverpool to Antalya at a convenient time of 12:00pm on both Wednesday 5th and 12th November using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Flights offered include all taxes as well as 20 kg free hold baggage allowance and 5 kg cabin baggage.
Andreas F. Forsthuber, Director of OSKA Travel, said: “We have been delighted by the level of positive feedback received after the 2013 programme and had many requests to provide departures from Liverpool Airport, too.”
“Our package tours are aimed at travellers wanting to experience more. We are offering well-organised escorted tours, covering the Turkish Riviera as well as wonderful Cappadocia”.
Mark Povall, Director of Air Service Development for Liverpool John Lennon Airport commented, “We see this as the start of a growing number of charter operations that we are keen to develop from Liverpool. For too long the region’s holidaymakers have been unable to choose to travel from their local airport on packages such as those on offer from OSKA Travel and we are confident the success of these flights will attract additional exciting opportunities soon.”Management at the Airport are delighted that OSKA Travel have chosen to include Liverpool in their latest UK programme and are confident these flights will prove popular, knowing the level of demand from holidaymakers from across the region for Mediterranean charter holidays direct from Liverpool. The Airport believes this could be the start of more new holiday operators and destinations to be served direct from JLA.
Prices start from just £249 per person on a bed and breakfast basis or a choice of five star all inclusive hotels starting from just £449 per person. Flight only is also available at £299.
