For passengers who are being dropped off or picked up, there are two car parks to choose from - the Express Drop Off & Pick Up car park situated directly opposite the terminal building (fees apply); and the Drop Off 2 car park, 5-10 minute walk away (free for up to 20 mins).

The Drop Off 2 car park is a short distance away from the terminal, but no more than a 10 minute walk. Drop off 2 Car Park Changes - Effective from 17th July 2024

From 17th July 2024 a number of changes will be taking place in the Drop off 2 Car Park in order for the airport to make better use of the available car park spaces for vehicles using the adjacent Park Smart car park.

The current Drop off 2 Car Park  will be redesigned and will have updated equipment installed, including entry and exit barriers and contactless payment on exit for passengers, bringing it in line with other car parks on site at the airport. The time to walk to the terminal from the Drop off 2 Car Park will still be approximately 7–8-minutes.

Parking for free in the Drop off 2 Car Park will be available for up to 20 minutes, with new tariffs being charged for stays of over 20 minutes. Please note that the Multi-Storey Short Stay Car Park tariff remains unchanged and may be a better option for users depending upon their length of stay.

Having exited the Drop off 2 Car Park vehicles will no longer be able to re-enter this car park and park for free for a period of 2 hours after they have exited. Vehicles re-entering this car park within this 2 hour period will be charged a minimum £8 tariff or higher depending upon their length of stay.
