COVID 19 - Latest Information:

Public transport to and from Liverpool John Lennon Airport continues to be affected by the measures in place to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Information on this page relates to bus services currently in operation, however bus and rail operations are subject to change at short notice.

Passengers are advised to carefully consider how to travel to the Airport and to check directly with bus and rail operators for the latest service information. The wearing of face coverings is now compulsory on all public transport and passengers are asked to pay by contactless if they can.

Merseytravel have launched a ‘Re Think Travel’ campaign asking everyone to rethink how they travel at this time, considering if journeys are essential and, if so, when and by what means people travel as although transport services are running, capacity is limited.
