Terms and conditions for Liverpool Airport’s 90th birthday Raffle for Alder Hey

  1. The promoter of this prize draw is Liverpool Airport Limited (company number: 02116704) whose registered office is at Peel L&P Venus Building, 1 Old Park Lane, TraffordCity, Manchester M41 7HA (“Promoter”).
  2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over and the prizes can only be sent to a UK address.
  3. The prize draw is hosted by the Promoter via third party site Raffall. Tickets cost £2 per single entry, and entrants are able to purchase multiple tickets at an uncapped amount.
  4. On 2 July 2023, the Promoter will publish a raffle with third party raffle providers Raffall (Raffall Limited is registered in England and Wales under Company Registration No. 09930826. Registered address at 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR, United Kingdom.) where entrants will be able to purchase tickets for £2 each at an uncapped amount until 07:00 on 7 August 2023 for a chance to win one of the following 26 prizes:

- Return flights to anywhere on the network from Liverpool with Jet2.com

- Return flights to Iceland with PLAY

- Return flights to Derry or Isle of Man with Loganair

- 60-minute trial flight from Liverpool Flying School

- One-hour flying lesson from Ravenair

  1. To enter, the entrant must purchase at least one ticket (at the cost of £2 per ticket) and answer the question correctly.
  2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  3. Winners of each prize will be chosen by random draw via the Raffall platform, carried out by Raffall, following the conclusion of the competition. All tickets are eligible to be drawn for each of the prizes, with the exception of tickets that have already been drawn as winners.
  4. Raffall will notify the winner by email before 31 August 2023, and the winner will be contacted by the Promoter no more than 20 working days following the conclusion of the draw to organise delivery. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within five working days of being contacted by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Raffall will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  5. The winners will need to provide their contact details to the Promoter in order for the Promoter to ensure that the winners receives the prize(s).
  6. The prizes for the winners are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  7. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  8. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry, as well as Raffall’s Terms & Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
  10. All monies raised from sales of tickets will be donated to Alder Hey Children’s Charity (Registered charity number: 1160661), less a 10% fee imposed by Raffall for use of their raffle service,
  11. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Prize-specific Terms & Conditions

Return flights to anywhere on the network from Liverpool with Jet2.com

  1. Terms & Conditions Flights are subject to availability and may not be taken at peak periods such as Christmas, New Year and Bank/School Holidays: please see www.jet2.com/promotions for further terms and restrictions.
  2. A restricted number of free seats are available per flight, Jet2.com reserve the right to offer an alternative date/destination to the one offered if this allocation is met.
  3. Flights must be booked by and taken by dates as specified in the competition terms and conditions or by Jet2.com.
  4. Changes to names and travel dates are subject to the standard change fee plus any difference in fare as outlined in Jet2.com’s general terms and conditions of carriage, which can be found at www.jet2.com.
  5. Flights may be changed or cancelled by the airline for administrative reasons without prior notice. In accordance with our terms and conditions, Jet2.com’s schedules are not guaranteed. Any changes will be notified via email.
  6. One item of checked baggage up to 22kg and one item of hand luggage up to 10kg is included per person.
  7. Flights may not be exchanged for cash and may only be taken by the competition winner along with the stated number of other travellers.
  8. Flights must be taken at the same time and with the same departure and return airport and are non-transferable.
  9. Jet2.com recommends that you take out your own insurance as this is not included in this prize.
  10. You must have a valid email address to claim this prize.
  11. Excludes Iceland and Christmas Market flights unless stated.

Return flights to Iceland with PLAY

  1. The pair of tickets is valid for any currently on-sale return flights from Liverpool to Iceland with PLAY, with limited exceptions.
  2. The duration of the trip may not exceed two weeks.
  3. Seats are subject to availability.
  4. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

A pair of Loganair return flights to Derry or Isle of Man from Liverpool

  1. Prize winner seats are subject to availability and embargo restrictions may apply. Winners should be flexible in their choice of destination and dates. Vouchers are valid for 1 year. Loganair require a minimum of 7 days’ notice to process your request. Vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash in whole or in part. Name changes, extensions or route changes are not permitted. The prizewinner and companion must travel together. Liability with regards to travel documentation rests solely with the prize winner. This voucher has no monetary value if the flight is cancelled. Travel is subject to Loganair’s standard conditions of carriage prevailing at the time of travel.

60-minute trial flight from Liverpool Flying School

  1. The prize is for one person to have a 60-minute trial flight in a two-seat aircraft.

Ravenair one-hour flying lesson in a two-seat aircraft for one person

  1. The prize is for one person to have a one-hour trial lesson in a two-seat aircraft.

  1. The prize is two tickets to the Michael McIntyre: MACNIFICENT on Ice showing at the M&S Bank Arena on Friday 19 March 2023 at 20:00.

Airport tour for up to six people

  1. The prize is a private Extended Guided Landside and Airside Tour.
  2. Dates are subject to availability.
  3. There is no age limit on attendees, but there must be at least one adult (18+) in attendance and everyone in the group needs to hold either passport or driving license.
  4. Tours last approximately 2.5 hours.
  5. The prize is for a single tour. There can’t be several tours split between multiple people.

Air Traffic Control Tower experience day for two

  1. The day will consist of an escorted tour of our Air Traffic Control tower, with opportunities for viewing at the top and lunch included.
  2. There is no age limit on attendees, but there must be at least one adult (18+) in attendance and everyone in the group needs to hold either passport or driving license.
  3. Tours last approximately 3 hours.
  4. The prize is for a single tour. There can’t be several tours split between multiple people.

Clothing prizes

  1. Winners of a clothing prize (Everton FC 2023-24 home shirt, Liverpool FC 2023-24 home shirt, x 90 years of Liverpool Airport commemorative t-shirts, 5 x 90 years of Liverpool Airport commemorative hoodies) will receive one item of the aforementioned prizes.
  2. The prize will be in a size of the winners’ choosing but are subject to availability. Sizing goes up to 5XL.

  1. Winners of 90 years of Liverpool Airport commemorative posters will receive one item.
  2. The poster will be delivered as is, and not framed.
