Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, announce new routes to/from Liverpool John Lennon Airport!

Ryanair have announced that from October 2009, they will commence new services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Rzeszow (Poland) and Bratislava. Their Winter service to Faro (Portugal) will also be reinstated.

In addition to the new routes, Ryanair will be increasing the frequency of flights to Belfast, Alicante, Malaga, Riga, Wroclaw while also maintaining services to Kaunas and Palma de Mallorca. The increased frequencies, combined with the new routes will ensure that Ryanair maintain its full capacity at Liverpool John Lennon Airport for the Winter.

Speaking at the Press Conference in Liverpool, Ryanair’s Deputy Head of Sales and Marketing, Dara Brady said:
"Ryanair is delighted to announce five new sun routes and increased frequencies to/from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, which will allow us to bring more low fares, more competition and choice to even more UK consumers/visitors. These new routes are on sale now for flights until 30 March 2010, allowing passengers to book the guaranteed lowest fares over the winter.

Ryanair’s five new winter routes from Liverpool John Lennon to Arrecife (Lanzarote) Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Rzeszow (Poland), Bratislava (Vienna) and Faro (Portugal) start in October. This expansion will now ensure the lowest fares to the sun and Europe for UK consumers with a choice over high fare airlines."
